I chose the bassoon because it was really strange and because a lot of people had no idea what it was. So I took it upon myself to be the odd one out and play it.

I'd really like to pursue a career in conducting an orchestra somewhere ideally at a university or college.

I'll benefit from not only the advanced orchestral training program but from the networking that will occur as well. Having the right contacts is usually about as important as ability.
What are your interests outside classical music / Avez-vous d’autres intérêts à part la musique classique ?
I enjoy tinkering with computers and computer programs and I used to play Team Handball a lot before I got into University.

Something that might surprise a lot of people is that I have no idea what about me would surprise people.

Playing in some of the biggest and best concert halls in North America. That's a really uplifting feeling.
