5. Why did you choose your instrument / Pourquoi avez-vous choisi cet instrument ?
In a way, the horn chose me. My high school band director was in desperate need of more horns, and it looked intriguing so I thought I would give it a try.

6. What are your professional goals? / Décrivez quelques-unes de vos ambitions professionnelles.
Upon completion of my Master's degree at the Boston Conservatory, I hope to win a job with a major orchestra. Though I love orchestral music, I enjoy doing chamber work, and premiering new music. Also, I have a passion for teaching, and hope to open a private studio, and work for a college or university.

What are your interests outside classical music / Avez-vous d’autres intérêts à part la musique classique ?
Other than classical music, I love to read, cook (especially bake!), study languages and practice various physical pursuits such as yoga, swimming, biking and hiking.

Who is your favourite classical musician? / Quel est votre artiste (classique) préféré ?
One of my favourite classical artists is Jamie Sommerville.

Recently I've been listening to Eliot Carter, Simon and Garfunkel, and Robert Schumann.

What is there about you that you think people might be surprised to know? / Y a-t-il quelque chose à votre propos qui est un peu surprenant ou hors de l’ordinaire?
People might be surprised to know that I used to play the flute before switching to the horn.
