In order to secure your position with the Orchestra please submit your $300 security/registration deposit and fee IMMEDIATELY by clicking on the following link. We accept MasterCard and Visa.
1. Why are we asking for a $300 deposit/fee?
As a result of eliminating tuition fees the NYOC requires a deposit in order to secure your position in the orchestra. This deposit, in addition to your signed contract, is our guarantee that you will attend the session.
2. Will I get my money back?
$200 of your deposit will be refunded to the issuing credit card after successful completion of the session; subject to deductions in the event of property damage, lost/stolen keys, incidental expenses incurred by the NYOC on the student’s behalf, etc. (For example the cost to replace the security card to gain entry into our residence is $100 alone.)
The remaining $100 will be used to cover administrative costs. These funds will also be used to cover the costs of your NYOC t-shirt, your copy of the CD recording (which will be mailed to you after the session) and other items you may receive from the organization.
If, for whatever reason, you withdraw before the beginning of the session, you cannot complete the session or are removed from the session, you will forfeit your deposit and fee.
